Jean was born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, in the Allegheny Forests of Warren (northwest) Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor's degree in French at Oberlin College in Ohio. During the following several years, she was employed as a Vietnamese Transcriber for the National Security Agency in Maryland. She has been involved in sales and marketing since 1973, when she moved to Houston.

n 1986, Jean and her husband and partner-in-everything, Mike (now deceased),  moved to The Woodlands. She has two beagles (Begley and Blarney) and four children, all grown and living in Texas, California, Missouri City, Texas, and Georgia. Over the years, Jean and Mike were avid tennis players and Explorer Scout leaders. Jean takes a special interest in  church activities, and is the-facilitator for the "The Woodlands Camera Club." For relaxation, Jean works with polymer clay, tries new recipes constantly, and loves to go camping! She loves to take LOTS of nature pictures!!  (In fact, feel free to visit her own Texas Bird Gallery!)

 

Jean has been a REALTOR since 1990, receiving Coldwell Banker's "Silver Circle" for excellence in production at the end of her second year, and earning membership in RE/MAX's elite "Executive Club" in 1994. In 1995 she very proudly joined the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene team (formerly Prudential Gary Greene Realtors). She served on the Executive Board of the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS, a position elected by fellow REALTORS, and has chaired MCAR Grievance Committee. She is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI), and has her CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation.  She is also Quality Service Certified (QSC).
